  3. Call 1300 Pest Control and let us know your availability, the property address and real estate agents details
  4. We call the real estate agent and organise access to the property
  5. We call you back with the confirmed date and time
  6. Our Qualified and Fully Insured Building Inspector conducts the Building and Pest Inspection
  7. Report is generated on site and handed over once payment is made. If you do not attend then the report will be emailed or fax through to you the next business day.

All our Building Inspections are carried out to Australian Standards or greater and will generally take 2 hours to complete.

An array of tools are used to carry out the Building Inspection and they can include:

  • A Moisture Meter – Termites are 95% moisture so this is a great tool to detect moisture migration
  • Video Inspection/Borescope – Allows our inspector to see inside wall cavities, trees and other voids
  • Termatrac – Thermal Radar gives a more accurate detection of Termites
  • Acoustic Probes – Hear Termite activity within walls

Building Inspection

Property Inspections are carried out by our fully licence and insured Building Inspector in accordance to Australian Standards.

A visual inspection of all the interior and exterior of the property takes place to detect any cracks, defects or safety concerns. Property Inspections compare your property against a similar property of the same age and construction type. All variations to the normal condition are outlined in the report.

Timber Pest Inspection

Structural timber frames, joists, bearings and any joinery will be examined, as will foundation soils, landscaping timbers, pavers and trees. A Timber Pest Inspection report reflects on whether there is evidence of activity as well as current conditions that will entice termite activity.
