Bugs Ed >> Interactive Insect Workshops for All Ages.  

Bugs Ed. was established in 2003 to provide a range of hands-on entomology based workshops for students of all ages, in order to encourage and expand their interest in insects.  The workshops, which are brought to the schools, have been carefully developed to compliment various teaching units within the school syllabus, whilst providing a fun, interactive experience for students.  Bugs Ed. workshops are suitable for primary and secondary school students, vacation care groups, science clubs, home teaching networks, nature groups and scout & girl guide gatherings.   
Over the last six years BugsEd have taught over 20000 students across more than 190 different schools, covering a range of insect topics such as morphology, diversity, life cycles, ecology and threatened species.

Michelle is a fully qualified Entomologist. Over the years Michelle has worked for many different companies and institutions, based both within Australia and internationally.  These include The University of Queensland, Queensland Museum, The Mount Glorious Biological Centre, CRC for Tropical Plant Protection, Hort Research New Zealand, Michigan State University, IRD New Caledonia & Province SUD New Caledonia.
